I don’t think feelings change, nor people. I think situations change. I know that it’s possible to dislike someone after loving them so much or to love someone after feeling so much hate towards them but, it’s not because people change, it’s because it’s not the same anymore. It’s because something made you think differently, something opened your eyes, something caused you to see everyday the way it is at last. It’s like days. Days can be cloudy, or days can be sunny but days don’t change, the weather does. And nothing can play a part in that or fix that, they can just let it be.

Keep going. No matter what you do, no matter how many times you screw up and think to yourself “there’s no point to carry on,” no matter how many people tell you that you can’t do it – keep going. Don’t quit. Don’t quit, because a few months from now you will be that much closer to your goal than you are now. Yesterday you said tomorrow. Make today count.

At some point, you`ve got to man up & jump. You`ve got to quit being scared of the “maybes” & “what-ifs” & just jump. Quit cheating yourself out of the best thing that could ever happen to you, quit cheating him out of what he`s wanted for so long, & just fall. Fall hard, fall long, & fall forever.

You know what? Yes, I have changed. I’m not as nice as i used to be, because I don’t want to get used or walked over, I don’t trust everyone and tell them my secrets, because behind every fake smile is a backstabbing bitch. I distance myself from people because in the end, they’re only going to leave without coming back. I have changed because I have realized that I’m the only person I can depend on.

We waste too much time putting ourselves down, so much that we don’t ever stop to see that we are truly good enough. We spend too much time with our heads down and hearts closed, and never get a chance to look up from the ground and see that the sun is shining and tomorrow is another day.

It’s okay. It’s okay to want someone you can’t have. It’s okay to want something more. It’s okay to cry when you’re hurt, and it’s okay to stay mad at someone who hurt you. Believe it or not, it’s always going to be okay. That’s just how it works. Sometimes things don’t work out how you want them to, and most of the time, it seems like they never will. But eventually, everything is going to iron out some way or another. You just have to believe, keep your faith, and move on.

I cant believe its taken me this long to figure you out. This time around is gonna be far different. You can tell me you’re sorry, but i wont believe you this time around like i did before. I now know that i dont need to get under someone else to get over you. I now know, it will just happen and that someday, im going to kiss someone, and its gonna be for me. He will fall in love with me and he will treat me better then you ever have. You say your love is irreplaceable but his love will conquer all and ill live happily ever after.

People don’t know how to love. They bite rather than kiss. They slap rather than stroke. Maybe it’s because they recognize how easy it is for love to go bad. To become suddenly impossible, unworkable, an exercise of futility. So, they avoid it and seek solace in angst and fear and aggression, which are always readily available.

I miss that feeling when you go to sleep at night and when you wake up in the morning. It’s the feeling that everything is alright in the world. You know, that amazing feeling when you’re whole, that you’ve got everything you want, that you aren’t missing anything. Sometimes when I wake up, I get it for a moment. It lasts a few seconds, but then I remember what happened, and how nothing has been the same since.
